I used to be a heavy soda drinker. Now? I mainly drink water.
Soda was my daily nectar, and I couldn’t imagine eating most lunches or dinners without it. I’ve quit drinking soda a few times and now my husband is joining me. It’s no longer our beverage of choice, but we still have soda on occasion.
Let’s be honest, plain water is boring. I love it now, but when I was breaking my soda habit, I HAD to flavor my water. The fizz is something I miss now and again, which is why spritzer drinks are a good alternative. I don’t drink them all the time, but they are a nice option!
Strawberry Lime Spritzer

Ingredients:
1 Lime
2 Strawberries
Seltzer water
Ice
Directions:
Start by slicing your lime and strawberries.
Next, add ice to a tall glass.
Then add the lime and strawberry slices to it.
Fill your glass with seltzer water and stir. You can buy seltzer water or you can easily make your own seltzer water with a SodaStream and tap water.
Enjoy!
Serving Tips:
This recipe is easy to modify for the number of drinks you need. I do not specify how much seltzer water to add, because it will vary depending on the size of your glass and the amount of ice you add. You may also decide you want to add more or less fruit.
Love mojitos? Add some mint leaves for a mojito mocktail variation. (Don’t forget to clap your mint first to release its flavor and scent!)
You can also use soda instead of seltzer and any other berry instead of strawberries (it’s just as delicious with raspberries!).
We hope you enjoy this Strawberry Lime Spritzer recipe the next time you crave a carbonated drink. It’s a fun non-alcoholic drink option for get togethers such as birthday parties and baby showers too.
