Christmas Lights Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt Printables

One of my favorite things to do during the holiday season is look at everyone’s outdoor Christmas decorations.

I remember my parents driving us around town to ooh and ahh at the pretty light displays. It was always interesting seeing the creative and unique ways people decorated too!

Since there are so many different items people can use Christmas lights and inflatables to decorate their houses and yards, I thought it’d be fun to make a little game out of it for the kids.

I created two different scavenger hunts for Christmas lights. They are both included so you can use whichever one you prefer – or use both!

These Christmas light scavenger hunts print nicely on regular printer paper. They look best when printing with color ink, but also look fine when printed in black and white.

Another option is to laminate them and use dry erase markers to mark off the different decorations you see. This may be a good solution if you are planning multiple outings to look at different light displays.

Use these while looking around at your neighbors’ houses or at a drive through Christmas lights display.

Christmas Lights Picture Scavenger Hunt

This Christmas lights picture scavenger hunt doesn’t require reading and is perfect for younger children as well as emergent readers.

It features 25 pictures along with the word in a bingo card style grid. Little ones can point to the pictures or cross them off when they see them.

Both scavenger hunts include a lot of the same Christmas items, but they are not identical.

Try to find them all if you can!
