Use our free printable Father’s Day bookmarks for a quick and easy activity for kids to do at school, as part of an art center for Father’s Day, or a quick project to complete together at home.
These printable bookmarks are an easy Father’s Day craft for kids. Father’s Day is a day dedicated to honoring dads, relevant father figures, or another special person in a child’s life.
It takes place on the third Sunday in June every year, so now is the perfect time to start working on something handmade.
Helping kids to make a present is a sweet and thoughtful way for kids to show their appreciation. Plus, it’ll be fun for them to get creative!
There are four different Father’s Day bookmark designs included in the printable file as well as a black and white set and a full color set.
Kids can color in the black and white bookmarks. Coloring provides children with benefits such as expressing their creativity and stress relief.
Coloring as well as cutting out the bookmarks are beneficial for fine motor skills development too.

How to Make Bookmarks for Father’s Day Gift:
First you will need to download and print out our Father’s Day bookmarks. They are available for free by filling out the form near the end of this post. I recommend printing these on white cardstock paper.
Enjoy coloring in the black and white bookmarks, then cut them out. Cut out the full color bookmarks if also giving them as part of the gift.
Another option is to provide kids with our blank tissue paper bookmark craft template and encourage their creativity to decorate the bookmarks however they want.
No matter which printable bookmarks you use, kids can make them extra special by adding embellishments, such as stickers or ribbon. You can also add a bit of sparkle with glitter or glitter glue.
I recommend laminating the bookmarks before gifting them. This will make them a more durable, long-lasting keepsake.
If you don’t have a laminator machine, don’t worry, because you can use these laminating sheets. You just need to cut them to the size you need (a little larger than the bookmarks) and apply them to your finished bookmarks to seal them in.
There are plenty of ways to be creative and make a unique paper craft bookmark for Father’s Day. It’ll brighten his day to use it to mark his spot in the latest book he is reading.
Better yet, gift him a new book along with the completed bookmarks!
