This popsicle stick leprechaun hat is an easy St. Patrick’s Day craft for kids to make at home or school. It’s a great holiday themed project that can also be used to work on shapes, colors, cutting and counting.
You can even use these as place cards for a St. Patrick’s Day party or attach a picture of your child’s face under the hat to turn them into a cute little leprechaun!

Craft Stick Leprechaun Hat Saint Patrick’s Day Craft
Are you looking for a cute craft project to do with the kids? We love popsicle stick crafts because they are easy to make.
They are perfect for crafting with toddlers and preschoolers, but kids of all ages can enjoy making these leprechaun hats.
It’s also easy to gather enough materials if you need a holiday themed project for a group, such as in a classroom or at a daycare center.
The coloring and gluing helps kids work on fine motor skills. It’s an excellent choice for an art center during March!
You can have the paper shapes cut out ahead of time or have the kids trace the pattern templates and cut everything out themselves.
I love using a hot glue gun for crafty projects, but you can also use a tacky craft glue or even regular school glue. If you use school glue, the hats may need a longer drying time.
Don’t miss all of our creative craft ideas for kids to keep inspiration going all year round.
