Super Buddies to the rescue!
It’s sort of amusing because when this movie arrived, Rissa wasn’t very interested at first. I thought for sure she’d want to watch it right away. For reasons unknown she did not want to, but one afternoon she brought it to me. We watched it together though I was exhausted and snuck in a nap for most of it. Rissa kept talking excitedly about the aliens, the magic rings, and the puppies. In fact she calls this movie Super Puppies. The next day she wanted to watch it again!
The Buddies find mysterious rings that grant them each a special super power. They work together to thwart bad guys because the best super power is teamwork! This movie is definitely cute and great for kids. Adorable talking animals dressed up like super heroes is just too fun.

Dora’s Great Roller Skate Adventure!
Rissa really loves watching Dora so this one keeps finding its way back into the Xbox 360 to be watched in the playroom. It took a couple days before I could move it from the living room to downstairs since Rissa kept asking to watch it. The title episode is an example of how to deal with bullying since one toy is preventing all the rest from playing in the skate park. Thankfully Dora helps them figure out how to all play together. I also loved the science fair episode – a great way to spark Rissa’s interest in science experiments!
